Acne is a skin disorder in which the impurities of the body try to escape though the skin causing inflammation.

Healing
Heal this skin disorder from the inside out. Start by eating a healthy diet with no processes foods, packaged foods or fried foods. These are cooked in corn oil and cottonseed oils that causes the pores of the skin to be plugged.

Eat as many fresh fruits and vegetables as possible. But if you are not use to eating a lot of these foods raw, be careful; suddenly changing your diet to healthy raw fruits and vegetables can cause you body it to clean itself out…or detox, which may result in an increase of acne for a short time.

Eat foods that are high in vitamin c, beta carotene, vitamin F, zinc, acidophilus and foods high in fiber. Fiber will help keep the body cleaned out preventing clogged pores. These are the foods I suggest:
  • Dark green vegetables

  • Yellow vegetables
  • Yellow fruits
  • Wheat germ
  • Linseed oil
  • Safflower oil
  • Sunflower oil
  • Soybeans
  • Walnuts
  • Pecans
  • Almonds
  • Avocados
  • Fish
  • Dried lima beans
  • Raisins
  • Cantaloupe
  • Lecithin
  • Pumpkin seeds
  • Ground mustard
  • Yogurt

    Don’t let the linseed oil, safflower oil and sunflower oil scare you. These are good oils that can help your body to heal, and create soft, pliable, smooth skin. Two tablespoons a day is sufficient.

    Here is a great little secret to healing acne. Juicing. It is one of the fastest easiest and tastiest ways to heal the body from he inside out. Thy this recipe. In a juicer combine:
    6 carrots
    ½ head of lettuce
    2 cucumbers
    apples to taste
    add a handful of alfalfa to the mix every third day of drinking this.

    Whole foods on the outside
    Whole food at times can be used as a topical healing recipe. In this case it can be very beneficial.
    Cucumber: peeled and blended until smooth and put directly on the face. Or place in cheese cloth and lay on the face. Relax for 10 minutes and wash off.

    Green Bean Tea and chamomile: can be amazing for eliminating acne. Dab onto face before bed. Or ir you really want to be agressive, put it in a small sray bottle and spray your skin whenever you think about it all day long. This recipe will also fade freckles.

    Papaya: great for eating as well as softening the skin and allows a rapid turn over of the epidermal layer, as well as fades freckles. Here is the recipe:

    1 “green” papaya
    2 tablespoons of sunflower oil
    2 tablespoons of molasses
    3 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream
    3 egg whites blend only 10-15 sec
    Place on face. Store any left over in refrigerator.

    Stay away from mineral oils. Makeup and many lotions have a mineral oil base.

    Herbs
    Healing whole food herbs:

  • Angelica is a great skin wash for acne
  • Birch can be used as a poultice
  • Burdock is one of the very best. Drink it as a tea and use it as wash.
    Aloe Vera is also a great healing herb. Apply fresh Aloe Vera to skin day and night.
