6 cups of chicken broth
1 tablespoon of organic apple cider vinegar
4 carrots sliced with skins
1/2 large onion cut into small pieces
1 clove of garlic crushed
Boil lightly only until carrots are soft

Then juice:
The other half of the onion
2 garlic cloves
1 zucchini with skins
1 parsnip with skins
1 turnip with skins
1 rutabaga with skins
1 sweet potato with skins
Add to the broth.
Heat soup just before boiling point
Serve and enjoy. Serves 8

Not in the mood for chicken soup? Make up a tasty cup of warm lemon water add honey, or dark molasses, a stick of cinnamon and a few cloves. This will relieve a sore throat heal a stuffy nose and warm your body.
