We don’t have to give up the taste of good food to keep our heart valves clear and pliable, but we do have to make good food choices.
But, we do have to give up smoking, decreasing salt and sugar intake, exercising regularly, keeping weight down, practicing relaxation or meditation techniques, eliminate saturated fats and hydrogenated oils from the diet.
It has been proven recently that even if we get our weight down 10% it can reduce our risk for many diseases 20%. That is a great reason for getting healthy.
Cardiovascular Disease
It will manifest itself in many different ways. Some of which are arrhythmia; irregular beats, cardiac arrest; stops beating, and failure; the cardiac function is not strong enough to supply blood to all parts of the body in a timely fashion. The most common condition is attacks. They occur when the blood supply is reduced and the heart is deprived of oxygen, either by clogged arteries, or blood clots.
